How do I apply and remove gel nail polish?
On the LAKKIE website, under How does LAKKIE work, you will find a step-by-step plan for applying and removing the gel nail polish.
The gel polish has started to wrinkle, what now?
The gel polish is probably applied too thickly. Always apply the gel polish in thin layers. Usually a gel polish needs 2 or 3 layers to cover well.
Do the LAKKIE'S have good coverage?
The LAKKIE'S from LAKKIE Gellak have a very good coverage. Most colors cover in 2 to 3 layers. The more transparent (glitter) colors often need an extra layer to cover well. If you have any questions about a certain color, send an email to info@lakkiegellak.nl
The colours on the website do not match 100% in real life, why is that?
We do our utmost to capture the colours as realistically as possible on screen. It is indeed possible that the colour deviates slightly from what you see on the website. This can be because a screen displays colours differently, and the brightness of your screen also has an effect on this. The type of light in which you admire your nails also affects how the colour looks. In short, we do our utmost to show this to you as well as possible, but the colours never match 100%.
The gel polish has discoloured due to the sun, how is that possible?
Gel polish can indeed discolour due to UV radiation. This is especially common with neon shades. Unfortunately, there is not much you can do about it.
Is it possible to combine LAKKIE with other brands?
It is possible, but the adhesion of the gel nail polish can be less, than when you only use the products of LAKKIE. The best result is to use both the topcoat, the base coat and the color of LAKKIE.
