What is the difference between a peel off base coat and a 'normal' base coat?
Actually, at first glance you don't really notice much with a 'normal' base coat. This one is the same in terms of thickness , they both polish the same , and at LAKKIE they both also come in the same kind of bottle ;). So what is the difference? The difference is mainly in the ingredients that are in it. The peel off base coat is made of flexible substances , which ensure that they adhere to your nail, but are not too strong, so that you can easily loosen it. The 'normal' base coat, on the other hand, has much stronger adhesive ingredients , which ensure optimal adhesion, which you can only remove with removers (or a file).
How does the peel off base coat work?
You start your manicure as usual. File, roughen, take care of your cuticles, and make your nails grease-free. Then you apply a layer of peel or base coat to your nails and let it harden under the lamp . Now the right base is on your nails, and you can paint everything over it . If you want extra reinforcement, you can paint a regular base coat or a rubber base coat over it. If you want beautiful BIAB nails, of course that is possible. Or do you just want your favorite gel polish color on your nails, no problem. Everything is possible!
If you want to remove the gel polish from your nails, first massage your nails with cuticle oil. Then, with a cuticle stick, very carefully create an opening between the gel polish and your nails. Once you have a start, you can peel the gel polish off your nails.
Please note! Use the peel off basecoat only on your natural nail . Make sure there are no residues of (rubber) basecoats, BIAB or gel polish on your nails. If you do have this, it can still damage your nails considerably.
How long does the peel off base coat last?
